揃（そろ）た　出揃た
早苗（さなえ）が　揃た
植えよう　植えましょ
みんなのために
米は宝だ　宝の草を
植えりゃ　黄金（こがね）の花が咲く

They're all out, they've all come out
The rice seedlings are all out
Let's plant out young sprouts
For the benefit of all of us
Rice is a treasure and so are the seedlings
After the planting, yellow-gold ears will come out

植え手も　揃た
植えよう　植えましょ
みんなのために
今年（ことし）ゃ豊年（ほうねん）
　穂(ほ)に穂が咲いて
道の小草(こぐさ)も　米がなる

We're all out, we've all come out
We planters are out in force
Let's plant out young sprouts
For the benefit of all of us
This year is going to be a harvest year; the rice will all be in ear
Even the small seedlings by the roadside will ear up
