田舎なれども　サァハエー
南部の国は　サー
西も東も　サァハエー　
金（かね）の山　コーラサンサエー

Though rural, sah-haa-eh
In the Province of Nanbu, sah
Both in the west and the east, sah-haa-eh
You can see the mountains of gold


2.
今度来るとき　サァハエー
持って来てたもれや　サー
奥の深山（みやま）の　サァハエー　
なぎの葉を　コーラサンサエー

When you come next time, sah-haa-eh
Do please bring me, sah
From a deep mountain recess
A branch of sacred nagi leaves
